Solid tempo expected primarily from Powerful Warrior and Wise Choice. CORVALIST (1) has had 14 career starts for 11 minor placings. Rarely runs a bad one, just can't quite seem to get the nose in front when it matters. This might just be the night. WISE CHOICE (12) looked the winner at Rockhampton last start but was just mown down late on. Can go one better here and grab that first win. TOSIMAN (9) was simply outclassed on resuming at Eagle Farm. Finds a much easier race and will be fitter second up. Showed signs of promise last campaign. RED TOFFEE (5) has been doing enough. Keep in mind. SHE'S GOT GRACE (13) resumes and ran a nice race at the Sunshine Coast last time in, suggesting something like this might just be within her grasp. Would be keeping her safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Surely today is the day for Corvalist.
