Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. MR MARIGOLD (1) has been placed in all 3 starts since being bought out of Australia, and he has a preference for heavy tracks. He cops his best draw in while, and Michael McNab has picked up the ride. He is the one to beat in this lineup. Follow your money. DRAGON BLOSSOM (6) finished sixth fresh up as favourite at Arawa Park just over 3 weeks ago. She peaked on her effort late that day and will strip fitter here. She carries 3kg less, thanks to a claim, and can take this out. GIOIA MAGICA (7) battled on strongly under hard riding fresh up at Tauranga 5 weeks ago. She has the pole position this time and will continue to improve as she strengthens up. Stick with her at some value. SWEET TALKIN GAL (11) is not the worst. Each way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mr Marigold deserves a win, but won't have it all his own way.
