Solid tempo anticipated with Tsarina Diamonds heading them off. TSARINA DIAMONDS (11) struggled to keep up first-up but as then found only one better at her next two starts. Jumped sharply to 1600m at the first of those then slightly dropped back in trip last time. The 2050m has to be some slight query being a daughter of Russian Revolution but the flip side of that is that she will take up a prominent position and should have to do little work to get there from the low draw. BRYDAN (5) has been struggling to break through, but has placed at 5 of his past 7 starts and should be around the mark again. THA MAESTRO (12) should be nearing peak fitness after two runs back from a spell and did have specking at her most recent run.
