A solid tempo on the cards with Global Wonder leading the way. THE FINAL WORD (9) took a couple of runs to find his feet on this track, and he put it all together to score by a short head here a fortnight ago. He gets to try the mile again and gets to carry the same weight with the rise in class. Hard to beat again. EQUAL BALANCE (7) is a 10-year-old gelding with a solid track record over this trip. He is heading the right way with his form and was runner-up by a short head here last week. He has 5kg less to carry this time and should go close to taking this out. PINK PANTHER (2) has not won for some time but is another who is holding his form. He was fourth in a stronger field 10 days ago and has each-way claims again. HE'S THE ULTIMATE (1) has each-way claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Final Word is a winning chance in a very even contest.
