Expecting a strong tempo with Gee Up, Capricornus and Zaboog going forward ahead of Chiaro Di Luna and Extremely Frilly. MOOCHI STARLIGHT (4) creates plenty of interest. Switched from a NSW yard and looked a run short at Rockhampton first up. He's won a trial there and he has shown enough at the provincials to say he's a decent chance. Wiggins' booking is a decent push. DAWN EMBERS (7) has been racing well without winning, and Butler rides today replacing the 3kg apprentice. Maps well and this looks a winnable assignment. EXTREMELY FRILLY (2) keeps threatening and got closer at Townsville 7 days ago. She's running out of chances but is in should be in the mix. GEE UP (3) is in good hands and resumes with a 2kg claimer aboard. He's been well prepared for the return and the speedy galloper to be naturally improved. RAVENITE (6) peaks but has been racing well shy of his Victorian best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Moochi Starlight appeals.
