Silky Girl and Tagano Dude will press forward in a keen battle for the lead. MIKKI TWINKLE (7) is a handy type who resumes after a break of four months. Only appeared once last prep when she finished seventh over 1800m at Nakayama, beaten 4 lengths. Has three wins to her name when fresh from a spell. Can make a winning return. WILLEM (10) was impressive when resuming last start, sitting on the pace and sticking on well to finish third at Hanshin. Has never been out of the placings at the second run back from a spell from four tries and will strip much fitter for this. Among the leading chances. GRANDE VENUS (8) is back from a spell of 16 months. Was narrowly beaten at his only appearance when last in work at Hanshin over 1800m. Comes here with definite top-three claims. SILKY GIRL (9) last appeared when she finished sixth over 2000m at Kyoto on May 24. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Should feature.
