Triumph Pass to find the front in the small field. TRIUMPH PASS (3) was only a neck from the winner in second last time out in a small field over 1200m at Kokura. Should camp just off the leaders. Will play a major role. BIRTHDAY FLIGHT (6) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1600m at Hanshin on debut. Backmarker who gets home hard. Best form puts her right in this. SIGN (5) was safely held on debut last start over 1800m at Kokura. Can improve off that effort. VOGEL (1) turned in a moderate debut over 1800m at Kokura on July 6 when he was safely held in fourth, 11 lengths from the winner. Will take a lot from that experience. Expected to do much better.
