Expecting Miss Heroic to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip.
WEATHER (3) was shuffled back mid-race then came again to finish second last start over this trip at Toowoomba. That run followed a five-week let-up so he does strip fitter. The one to beat in a plain affair. MISS HEROIC (6) filled a placing for the first time last Saturday, leading for home before finding one better over this distance at Coonabarabran. Big chance with a repeat of that performance. SOOFREE (8) didn't do a bad job to finish midfield on debut over 1110m at Port Macquarie a fortnight ago. Open to plenty of improvement and from the inside gate is a winning hope. SANTOS EL HALPER (2) is a twenty-five-start maiden whose recent form has been poor. Best figures measure up so throw him in the exotics. INSAIN FLAME (5) is in the mix on a seven-day back-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Weather to break through.
