Genuine tempo with the speedy Kelvinater crossing from the outside gate. ESSENTRIC NATURE (13) bolted in first-up last campaign and improved sharply in his first prep for the Williams stable. He showed he's a nice horse on the rise and his recent trial was solid under Pike. Looks well placed on his return and can pick up where he left off. HORCRUX (11) dropped back to 1000m last start and just couldn't go with them in the Heavy conditions. Back up to 1200m is a big tick for him, as is the inside barrier. Should be close to the speed and will give a bold sight. WANT A WINNER (9) couldn't extend the winning streak last start when back to 1000m last time out where they were just a bit quick for him. Needs some luck from out wide, but he's a classy customer who can bounce back to winning ways. SENTIMENTAL BELLE (5) was only fair first-up in Heavy going but usually improves with a run under her belt. Can be in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Essentric Nature can resume on a winning note.
