Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Duke Of Bronte, Royal Commodore and Regimental Colours prominent. LIVIN' THING (5) began only fairly and drifted back further than expected when he failed to get a clear crack at them over the final 200m to finish eighth over 1100m at this track. Senior rider hops on with the blinkers being added. Will prove hard to hold out. LORDSTER (7) progressive gelding who demolished his rivals first up in a solid Highway race over 1200m at Rosehill. Strips fitter and gets a better run from the low draw. Sure to make his presence felt with the claim. ZOURIPPER (15) third up for this with a much better map. Strong through the line when a gritty fifth over 1200m at Rosehill. Serious top three player. REGIMENTAL COLOURS (12) far from disgraced from the outside gate when she boxed on gamely to secure fourth over this track and trip. Senior rider on and can take control early. No excuses. SUGGESTED PLAY: Livin' Thing each way.
