Plenty of pace from Skates On, Vinlago and Prince Carlos primarily.
Speedy gelding SKATES ON (2) has led for home at his last couple and battled on reasonably well, most recently beaten under a length over 1010m at Port Macquarie. Sure to prove tough to run down again. Rising eleven-year-old INDIAN THUNDER (8) passed half the field in the straight last time out to finish fifth in a BM58 over 1000m at Scone. Races well here and looks nicely in after the claim. Big chance from a favourable draw. INVINCIBLE FAITH (1) has won two in a row at the non-tabbers, both over 1000m. Good enough to mix it with this lot. DESERT COUGAR (3) has struggled since winning her maiden at Tamworth in May. Down in class today and might surprise. PRINCE CARLOS (9) gets some weight relief today and draws the fence so a better run is on the cards. SUGGESTED PLAY: Skates On to run them off their legs.
