Strong tempo with Shonan Vajra likely to hold the lead from the rails draw, joined by Arrogant Shame. RED SAGESSE (10) returned last time with a solid third at Kokura over 2000m, coming from worse than midfield in the early and middle stages. Ready to go a couple better. SHONAN VAJRA (1) has not raced since his debut back on March 8 when he finished seventh over 2000m at Hanshin. Big chance with race experience now on board. OVERSTAND (9) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when first-up after a spell last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 2000m at Kokura. Among the chances. ARROGANT SHAME (3) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 9 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
