A solid tempo anticipated with From The Block and Mercury Eight ahead of Duchess Of Sussex and Hot Strut. BANCOORA (1) bolted in last start and, if he reproduces that effort, he can win again. The forecasted rain will only aid his chances. He's drawn well and Opperman sticks so he's the horse to beat. FROM THE BLOCK (2) has justified market expectations at both of his return runs in Australia. This is a step up in grade but he's capable of rising to the challenge. He looks the danger. Include EVEN SHARPER (6) if you're looking for something at a price. HOT STRUT (7) heads to Morphettville having kicked off her latest campaign with wins at Balaklava and Gawler. Tougher here however is very much a mare in form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Bancoora to win again.
