Prince Pinot should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. KHANT BEE (2) was a winner in BM52 grade earlier in the campaign and while he has struggled to break through in stronger company in recent runs each performance has been good enough to be a factor in a race of this nature, particularly the last-start second placing in a BM58 highweight. AHAB (4) comes through the same race at Khant Bee and was beaten only a length by that rival so if you like Khant Bee you need to give Ahab a chance given the weight swing. PRINCE PINOT (3) is a 3YO taking on the older horses and had a crack at the St Leger earlier in the year but looks better suited at around this trip. BRUZANI (5) has mixed his form this campaign but looks the type of horse who will relish 2050m. SUGGESTED PLAY: Khant Bee to win.
