Plenty of pace evident with Matsoka and Ginger Jive leading the way from Marines Cry and Make De Fortune. LE TROY (1) made good improvement finding one better at Carnarvon. Gets in well again with the 3kg claim and the shorter trip shouldn't bother. Has his first try at the track and gets the nod. MAKE DE FORTUNE (5) raced favourite and won her Maiden three back by a big space. She's been plainer the two since but she's suited at best and the 3kg claim brings her into it. GINGER JIVE (4) is ready to win but the longer sprint is the niggle with her. She's well set to get every chance regardless. MATSOKA (2) tries hard and won't be far away. MARINES CRY (6) is lightly raced and has scope for improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Le Troy.
