GOING: H(9)

NEW ZEALAND FARMERS LIVESTOCK 1200m

Track: HEAVY 9     Out 9m

Expecting Richard And I to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. RICHARD AND I (1) resumed with a solid enough effort on the Cambridge poly track just over 2 weeks ago and will notice the drop back in company here. He strips fitter and has Michael McNab in the saddle for the first time. Hard to beat here. TIMETOPLAYTHEGAME (3) led all the way to break his maiden status here by a short head in his penultimate start and then weakened in the run home at Ruakaka 4 weeks ago in a stronger field over 1600m. The drop back to 1200m is a query, but he will be running on and can bounce straight back into the money. SI EXQUIS (4) made some solid progress last prep and is resuming from a decent spell that would have done him the world of good. He benefits from a 4kg claim and is likely to have plenty of admirers fresh up. Watch closely. FLORIN (5) followed up a nose win at Matamata with a solid third here 3 weeks ago. She is in a good space and can figure in the finish again. MONEYPENNY (8) was an easy winner fresh up and can go on with the job now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Si Exquis could be the one to side with, especially if the money comes for him.
