Genuine tempo with Newlook leading the way. MUNHAMEK (3) comes through the Winter Championship Final at Flemington having been a touch unlucky not to beat Jimmy The Bear, flashing late after drawing inside. Was only second up there off an even return and he should at least be able to hold that level which will go a fair way to winning this. DETONATOR JACK (2) struggled to get into that race at Flemington after drawing wide and getting back. Drawn inside now, he can improve. REGAL VOW (10) plummets in weight from 61.5kg down to 53.5kg with Craig Williams aboard now. She was okay in easier company last time but her best form is very competitive with that weight drop. EARLSWOOD (6) is back to a mile which is perhaps the query but is going well and can run them along. ST LAWRENCE (5) was better last time and can improve again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Munhamek on top.
