Gavin Lerena takes over the reins and jumping from an inside draw rates well as a leading chance. FRENCH BOLT (6) looked in need of his resuming run last start and having won second-up previously should be returning to form. ZANTHAR (9) is better than his last start run would suggest. On his best form he can finish in the top-three. PASSAGE OF POWER (5) ran a much better race last start when finishing fourth of eight over 1200m at Turffontein Inside when well supported. Drawn well and can atone.
