Not a noted first-up performer which is the concern but this is not a strong race. GEBER (12) finished 12th at this track and distance at his last appearance 12 weeks ago. Has won when fresh from a spell in the past. Looks a strong top-three prospect. LUX COSMOS (16) finished 4 lengths from the winner in fifth last time out when fresh from a spell over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt on February 1. Can improve sharply.
