Keen tempo with Princess Elsa and Fawnzor prominent. SCOUSER (4) has not won for some time, but her form has been near enough in some stronger fields at Ellerslie. She has been freshened up, and in an easier field, she is the one to beat for us. EXIT LEFT (1) made progress last year during his spring campaign, and he will be resuming from a spell that would have done him the world of good. He will find this trip sort of his best, but he has had no lead-up trials, and will be ready to rumble fresh. Do not risk him. ONLY THE LONELY (3) has been freshened up since running 3 good races in a row earlier in the year, including her last start here in January, when beaten by a head. She has been a comfortable Foxton trial winner since then, and from a good gate, she can give this a shake. Each way. SHACKTIME (6) is heading the right way with her form, and was making up a lot of ground late when finishing runner-up at Otaki 3 weeks ago. Her next win is not too far away. FAWNZOR (8) looked to be a run short last time out. Stick with her. SUGGESTED PLAY: Scouser can win this.
