PEMBREY (3) had her reputation dented as the short priced fav when she never got a crack at them in the straight to finish fifth in the G2 Sweet Embrace over this trip at Randwick. Further improved now and expect to see J Mac push forward from the sticky gate. Go close. BY CHOICE (1) returned from her gallant third in the Magic Millions with a tough on-pace third in the Sweet Embrace. Was a month between runs on that occasion and no excuses here from the idea draw. Genuine top-three contender. CIARON'S STAR (11) failed to back-up the good win two-back, when she faded to see the 1200m out to run sixth in the Sweet Embrace. Tongue-tie goes on and deserves another chance. HELLENIC BELLE (10) Annabel & Rob Archibald trained filly by Hellbent from Beside You on debut. Impressed in two trials and Zac Lloyd sticks after riding her in both trials. Each way. LUMBINI (2) looks the pick of the rest after knocking up late from the let-up. Improver. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pembrey can bounce back and secure her Golden Slipper start.
