Cherry-ripe now at the third run back from a spell. The testing material. DON ERECTUS (11) impressed last time out when second at Listed level at Tokyo Dirt over 1600m, beaten a neck. Should be at his peak now after two runs back. Strong contender over the longer journey in this easier race. DANTSU SHITAN (12) is racing well but struggling to break through, the latest effort another minor placing when second over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Has a win and four minor placings at this trip from seven starts. Another big run is likely. TESTA VELOCE (3) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, beaten 8 lengths. Worth another chance.
