KERGUELEN (2) unbelievable first-up winner from back in the field when he surged late to nail Tonkin over 1100m at this track in BM94 class. Meets Tonkin better at the weights and gets the right tempo again. DON'T HOPE DO (6) fast on-pace sprinter who comes back a few levels for this after fading quickly when tenth in the G1 Oakleigh Plate over 1100m at Caulfield. Fitter now and assess on the good first-up Rubiton run. KING'S SECRET (4) untapped sprinter resuming. Covered ground on the speed with a gallant neck win of the LR Canterbury Sprint over 1200m.
