Kipling's Journey to roll forward and dictate terms. Poor ROCK HARD LOVE (5) just cannot draw a decent gate. Snagged back to the tail last start over 1800m at Eagle Farm then sprouted wings late but missed out narrowly. Will need to be ridden in a similar manner today but over this extra trip he is capable of finishing right over the top. ABSOLUTE SUNSHINE (7) clashed with Rock Hard Love at the Farm last time out and produced a similar run from back in the field, just failing to hold out for second. Has not raced beyond nine furlongs since coming to Australia but it looks the right option. LOVEY DOVEY (11) chased hard but found the in-form Akkadian Emperor a little too good over 2200m at Eagle Farm a fortnight ago. Will be strong at the end of this when others might be lying down. PRINCE LEVI (2) also chased home Akkadian Emperor last start in a 2200m BM80 at Doomben. Honest stayer who maps to enjoy the run of the race. BENGAL BOY (4) has been plain this prep but the set up here at the third run back looks ideal. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rock Hard Love each-way.
