Expecting Elronte to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. CONFORMITY (6) broke her Maiden last start over 1000m at Sunshine Coast, scoring by a nose. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Has a handy 2kg claim and the blinkers on for the first time and she can take the next step for the top metro stable. ELRONTE (7) resumes and has switched to the Tony & Maddysen Sears yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Toowoomba over 1000m. She's a leader who goes well fresh and just missed in a recent Gold Coast trial. Worth plenty of thought. LOKEN (2) had been in great form winning two races on end but missed the frame most recently over 1000m in much stronger at Eagle Farm. Carries more weight but is better placed and has to be considered. SUSSUSUDIO (9) got too far back in tougher at Doomben but she resumed her in solid order and has more to give. Well in the mix at best. CHARLOTTE'S HERE (4) next best on resumption. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Conformity.
