Expecting Khafre to take up the running with Leroy Brown and Pacifico close at hand. STERLING EXPRESS (1) will be dropping back from some courageous efforts in G1 company this prep, and he is perfectly placed at this level with 2kg less to carry than last time. Hard to beat, especially if the track is wet. QALI AL FARRASHA (3) was only 2 lengths off the winner when finishing sixth in the same race as the top pick last start, and she only needs the gaps to come at the right time to have the last say here. Watch for her late. CANNON HILL (8) stuck to his guns gamely when finishing third at Otaki 3 weeks ago. He cops a wide gate for his track debut, and if he can find a spot close to the fence early on, then he can figure in the top 4. LEROY BROWN (6) will have to work hard to find his usual front-running spot from a wide draw here, but if the track is wet, then the tough gate could be a blessing in disguise. Stick with him. CHATTAHOOCHEE (7) caught the eye fresh up at Matamata, and will start from a superior draw this time.Don't risk him. Include in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sterling Express is the one to beat.
