BOW HILL (4) has not won for some time, and was a touch disappointing at Trentham nearly 2 weeks ago. She is looking for a wet track and won't have any fitness concerns. Dropping back in class will suit her, and she looks well placed to find some good form again. THE TRENDSETTER (6) has won her only start on this track, and her last start at Matamata 4 weeks ago, when finishing sixth, was not too bad. She seems to prefer racing in a clockwise direction, and she has top 4 claims. APEX (5) was an upset winner at Te Aroha in her penultimate start, and then showed that win was no fluke by winning again at Matamata 2 weeks ago. There is no reason why she can't complete the hat-trick, but don't expect another fancy price. RUACH (3) dropped in class and broke a win drought when winning at Ellerslie 6 weeks ago. Now that his confidence is up, he will be an each-way threat again. PERFECTMANZ (7) will find this easier than his last 3 starts, and he would not be a shock winner of this race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bow Hill each way.
