The pace looks even at best given a lack of early speed. A race of few chances. COSMO BLACK (8) has registered two minor placings in a row. Turned in another good performance last time out when second over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Nicely placed to find winning ways. GETARIA (3) returned last time with a solid second at this track over 1800m after travelling worse than midfield through the early part of the race. Big chance to go one better. SUNRISE ARTHUR (9) settled well back at this course and distance last time but did find the line nicely to finish fifth, beaten 3.5 lengths. One to watch for in the concluding stages. MAONO MUSASHI (7) finished third last time over 1800m at this track, beaten 5 lengths, in the best run of his three starts to date. In the right race and is a winning hope.
