Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Fleet Flyer.
CHARKA (6) won her maiden here first-up over 1000m then stayed at that trip last start at Hawkesbury and was probably looking for more ground. Gets that extra 200m today and should be spot on at the third run back. ISSY'S STAR (4) returned a strong figure first-up when beaten under a length over today's journey at the Beaumont track. Tired in the final stages when extended to 1300m last time. Nicely in with Stanley's claim and back at 1200m is a serious chance. Honest filly YOU'RE THE CHOICE (8) has been on or about the money all prep. Best rating was two back when beaten a length in a BM64 over this distance at Kembla. Key contender with a repeat of that performance. MISSILE MAGNATE (1) closed late to get up for third when resuming over 1000m at Wyong recently. Has won second-up in the past and another try at today's trip looks timely. FLEET FLYER (3) impressed on debut last start when well supported. Capable of taking this next step. SUGGESTED PLAY: Charka gets the nod in a competitive race.
