NICK TIME (6) was unsuited to leading at Matamata last time out, and was well beaten in a far tougher field at Te Rapa before that. He is much better placed in this field, and a form reversal is on the cards. Each way. LEAVE A LIGHT ON (11) has been freshened up since failing to finish her run off at Ellerslie 6 weeks ago over 2100m. Dropping back to a mile is the key, and as long as the track is not too wet, she can bounce straight back into the money. LANTERN WAY (1) settled back too far here last time out, and was unable to run on off a muddling pace that day. He is much better than that, and he can make amends. Stick with him on an each-way basis. PLATINUM TYCHE (9) is a very capable performer on her day, and she will be a lot stronger after having a short spell.
