DANCE GAVIN DANCE (1) has started twice, running a good third on debut before being beaten 1.75 lengths last time over 1183m at Grafton. Has a low gate and has been freshened. Rates strongly. SHOWN THE DOOR (6) placed on the Gold Coast poly on debut and then was disappointing folding up late there over 1200m on the turf. Suited this grade and back to 1000m. She will also be fitter and can fight out the finish. BETTY BOOM (3) went close over shorter at Gatton first-up. Closed in nicely and the 100m should be ideal. In good hands and should be in the finish. XTRAVAGANT GIFT (8) peaks and showed enough last preparation to keep safe. Has the tongue tie on for the first time and has been kept on the fresh side.
