Geist Segen is expected to cross from a wide draw and lead. INAZUMA DAIMON (8) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt, making it five minor placings from as many starts. Not much depth to this field so he should be opening the account. NIGHT BIRD (4) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2400m at Tokyo, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. AOHARU BLUES (11) has been in the betting recently but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished 16th over 1800m at this track when something wasn't right. Can feature in the finish if all is well. MEDICI POWER (13) returns after three months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 1800m at this track. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
