Flaming Conquest and Campai should set a strong gallop. STATE IN TEXAS (5) has put together two wins this track/trip, and the hat-trick beckons third-up. Has the inside gate and keeps the handy 2kg claim. Winning rider Jett Newman retains the mount. Strips fitter again and can go on with the job. CAMPAI (4) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 0.8 lengths in second behind the above. Led them up in that and the 2kg claimer will use the inside draw. Has some weight relief and she can threaten again. REVALENE (7) resumes for the premier stable seeking the hat-trick off a win at Dalby at 70 level. Placed in a recent Deagon trial and is in well with the 2kg claim. May find it a touch short but has to be kept very safe. PALAWA KANI (2) was well fancied resuming over 860m at Gatton and won comfortably. Has won 3/6 second up and 4/4 this course/distance. Well in the mix.
