Genuine tempo with No Ragrets and Patrioticintention pressing for the lead. Another tough form assignment. OVAL OFFICE (3) led and missed a nose first-up this track/trip and hasn't had much luck the two since. Will find this more suitable than the Sunshine Coast last time and has been freshened. Draws low and gets his chance. PATRIOTICINTENTION (4) has been knocking on the door and then didn't manage the wide barrier at Coffs Harbour a his latest (vet cleared). Draws out again but expect him to push forward today. Worth another chance. BOOM COURT (1) hasn't won for a while but turned the form around beaten 2.4L at Coffs Harbour first up. Has the inside barrier and 2kg claim and can make the finishing holding the form. PINETO LAD (8) resumes and was a comfortable Murwillumbah Maiden winner before the spell. Had been threatening and has scope for further improvement. Draws wide and will need some luck. ANCIENT MISSION (7) also has a sticky gate but was tracking well before the latest and has to be kept onside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Oval Office.
