BIDAAYA (1) has not appeared since he finished third in the Listed Subaru Stakes over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt on January 10. Opened last prep with a placing at Grade 3 level which is outstanding form for a race of this quality. Should be too good. STRENGTH (12) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by 2.5 lengths over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Open to plenty of improvement and is the obvious threat to the hot pot. KITANO'S EDGE (4) is back from a spell of nine weeks. Scored a good win at his final run last campaign in stakes class at Kyoto Dirt over 1400m. Comes here with definite top-three claims. JUSTIN EARTH (11) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Has to be respected.
