Champion jumper ECORO DUEL (2) resumes from a spell of three months. Had just the one run last preparation, scoring in the G1 Nakayama Daishogai steeplechase (4100m). Should have little trouble disposing of this field. The danger is NEVIIM (10) who last appeared when second behind Ecoro Duel in that Grade 1 at Nakayama. Has a solid first-up record. The one capable of an upset. DINASTA (9) did fairly well when he finished second in a G3 steeplechase (3170m) at Kyoto two runs back. Held that form last time when 2.5 lengths away in second in a steeplechase (3200m) at Nakayama. Hard to knock. HEZARFEN (3) did fairly well when he finished second in a steeplechase (3570m) at Nakayama two runs back. Franked that form when just 2.75 lengths away in fourth last time out in a steeplechase (3200m) at Nakayama. One for the exotics.
