Expecting Wowit's Willywonka to lead Bavarian Lady at just a moderate tempo. PELE PRINCESS (7) was in the market but didn't manage the wide gate in tougher at Doomben. Came from last beaten 1L at Ipswich prior over this trip, continuing a strong run of form. Finally has an inside gate and she can return to the winners' stall. WOWIT'S WILLYWONKA (2) races forward and was back on track beaten 1.3L here over this distance at 70 level. He will be in the finish holding that form. DON'T DISS AROUND (1) was sharply better beaten a whisker in the same contest. Came from the back and may have to do it the hard way again. BAVARIAN LADY (4) didn't run out a middle distance in stronger at Doomben but brought solid Sunshine Coast form to that over 1800m. She's been kept on the fresh side and races well here over a mile. Can't be ruled out. LITTLE VAIN (11) may be the best of the rest. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Pele Princess.
