Strong tempo assured from Unmix and Malbec leading the charge. UNMIX (1) raced up on the speed on debut last start then held on well to finish third over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt in a promising introduction to racing. Aided by the rails draw so she is worth following up. MALBEC (4) has not raced since her debut on December 7 over 1800m at this track when she finished fourth, beaten 9 lengths. Expected to be very competitive with the race experience now on board. DANTSU KAREN (3) last appeared on debut back on October 19 when she finished tenth over 2000m at Kyoto. Can improve this time in work and should be thereabouts. KOITAMACHAN (12) is a two-start maiden who finished seventh when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at this track. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat.
