Plenty of pace from Bourbon Proof, Takeshi and Dream Of The Moon primarily. HAVE A CRACK (8) was a beaten favourite fresh up at Matamata off the back of a good trial win at Avondale. She will improve quickly second up, and the extra furlong will help. A wide gate is no help, but he is good enough to figure in the top 3. Follow your money. TAKESHI (1) won fresh up, and his 2 subsequent runs have been in tougher fields. He is nicely placed to bounce back into form, so stick with him. DREAM OF THE MOON (4) has been narrowly beaten in her last couple of starts, including a sound second at Ellerslie 3 weeks ago in a tougher field. She benefits from a 2kg claim, and she can go one better. SWEET BUT PSYCHO (12) resumes from a spell, and she usually takes a run to get ready. She is nicely placed, and if there is any market confidence, she would be worth including in all combinations. PLOY (11) had an excuse fresh up when getting her tongue over the bit, and she will find this company more to her liking. She has plenty of talent and can win this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dream Of The Moon and Ploy are both sound each-way hopes.
