Plenty of pressure with King Of Minto, Provance and This Is One leading the charge.
Tough race to open a tough day. FLYING DESTINY (2) has been about the money at all three runs this prep and looks ready to break through. Draw wide then went forward and raced on the speed before going under by the slimmest margin over 1200m at Eagle Farm last start. Has a fine record at 1100m and from the good gate gets every chance. ESTRONDO (3) looked a chance on the corner but didn't quite finish the race off against Flying Destiny and others at the Farm last time. Coming back to this trip might be the key. Worth one more chance. BLITZBURG (4) returned to form last start over 1200m at Eagle Farm when ridden against his usual pattern in front. Probably takes a sit this time. Has a few gear changes and another big run looks on the cards. PROVANCE (9) is flying at the midweeks. Needs to go to a new level to topple this field but has never raced better and deserves his chance. FIRST MISSION (7) is a gun first-up performer who cannot be left out of calculations off a 15-week spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: Flying Destiny each-way.
