BOOM SHOT (11) has settled well back and made substantial ground in the run home in his two races this prep, both over 1350m at Doomben. Ready to peak at this stage of the campaign. SULTRY SIREN (14) has raced well all prep without winning, the latest effort a closing third over today's distance at Eagle Farm. Cherry ripe and at the weights makes plenty of appeal. CHIEF IN CHARGE (8) made it three in a row with a workmanlike win over 1350m at Doomben recently. Excels at or around this distance and with a bit of luck from the awkward gate can build on his fine record. RHAPSODY CHIC (5) went back to last then wound up powerfully to finish on the placegetters heels over this trip at Eagle Farm last time. Might show a bit more early doors with the blinkers on today. Right in contention. CASTILLIAN (3) strips fitter and seems to go best for Angela Jones who is back aboard today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boom Shot each-way.
