Moderate tempo with Quein Step leading the way and a few others keeping in touch.
SILENCIO PORFAVOR (2) travelled just off the speed then worked home in good style to get up for third in a BM72 over 1000m at Warwick Farm last start. Strips fitter, is back in grade, and will appreciate the extra 100m at this stage of the prep. Ticks all the right boxes. STRATAFY (4) returned in good order over 1000m here two runs back then looked to have every chance when a little disappointing in a similar race to this at Wyong last time. Races well here on her home track so worth another chance. HONEY PERFUME (3) returned from a 191-day spell and recorded a remarkable tenth minor placing from 12 starts when beaten under a length over 1000m at Hawkesbury. It's been 11 months since that lone win. Each-way. QUEIN STEP (7) started favourite when resuming last start. Settled back in the field then ran into bother when fourth over 900m at Newcastle on that occasion. Can improve out to this distance. UNREACHABLE (5) made a pleasing return at Randwick last time and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Silencio Porfavor.
