Whisky Fever, Arctic Fox and Dew Tell will set a good tempo despite the small field. DEW TELL (7) resumed with a 4L defeat at Belmont Park, though the form out of that race has been super. There's been 3 winners from 6 subsequent starters and she looks well placed coming back to this grade. Ticks a few boxes and can make an impression with no weight on her back. ARCTIC FOX (5) has had a few goes now but should enjoy this easier company today. The inside draw is ideal for her as she should be close to the speed for Mahony. Form prior to last start was very good for a race like this and she'll be hard to hold out if she can return to that level. CHASON WINS (4) was always well out of her ground when 11th over 1200m at Pinjarra Scarpside last start, a less impressive effort than her run at Bunbury the run prior. Finds a more suitable contest today. NEWINGTON BOY (1) can feature coming back to an easier assignment. WHISKY FEVER (3) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dew Tell can get the job done.
