Expecting Diamond Flash One to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. TSITSIPAS (1) looks the one to beat. He's a handy enough stayer who can be slightly hit-or-miss, winning well two back at Mornington, fading late last time up in grade at Sandown Hillside. He comes back in grade here and this race lacks depth. He did beat HOLLANDIA (2) when they clashed at Mornington but there wasn't a whole lot between them. Hollandia was only third up there and is now fifth up off another good run at Geelong. He could turn the tables. MADAME LEXIS (6) struggles to win but put in a good effort last time over this route when battling on well for a narrow third. She can land in a good spot again and figure in the finish. DIAMOND FLASH ONE (4) broke through for a smart maiden win here last time and has to be respected despite beating very little on that occasion. AMAWASHA (3) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tsitsipas to win.
