Good pressure from the outset with Maru Mori Rapidus, Keibee and Anima Ray taking up the running over Storm Thunder and Mozu Plus Fort. ANIMA RAY (12) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when second at Hakodate over 1200m. Should park just off the speed. Best form puts him on top in this line-up. MARU MORI RAPIDUS (5) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at Hakodate, beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth. Likely improver with strong prospects. STORM THUNDER (10) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 8 lengths away in sixth over 1200m at this track. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better. BRIGHT FLARE (4) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 6 lengths from the winner in sixth at Hanshin over 1400m. Expected to do more.
