Genuine performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a second over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. MEINER COURONNE (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing second and beaten only one length over 1400m at this track. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. IROHANIOE (9) started at $4.40 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at this track over 1500m. Better than her last start so worth including.
