MALBEC MAN (4) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing in all three career outings to date and strikes a very winnable contest here. Will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell and the extra furlong should suit. Rates the testing material. SILVIO DANTE (6) will find this assignment easier than what he's been facing of late and gets some weight relief with the claim. Looms as the main danger. SUPIDO ROSE (10) placed over this track and trip two back before not measuring up at the Sunny Coast last time out. Worth another chance. EMBEZZLED HEART (2) next best in a race with only a handful of chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Malbec Man to shed the maiden tag.
