Decent sized field but it lacks any obvious pace. GIBRALTAR GOLD (1) won in this grade last start with authority, putting good gaps through the field as she won by 1.9L in fine style. Drawing inside today may be a niggle, but hopefully Gaerth can get her out with plenty of time to spare. Looks a progressive type who can win again. DATE WITHTHE DEVIL (2) got a long way back last start and never got into the race, however he did pull up with an issue. His form prior tot hat had been solid in this grade, jumping the fave two back. Drawn to get his chance today and he can bounce back to his best. AMERICAN THIGHS (5) may not have handled the quick turnaround last start and the rise in trip, finishing a long way back and pulling up with an issue. Back to this track and trip looks a good move, particularly with the booking of Faithfull. Expecting her to bounce back. I NEVER DREAMED (3) is in the mix if she can bring her best form. HAND ME DOWN (8) has claims right back in trip and with Brad Parnham booked. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gibraltar Gold can win again.
