Will prove tough to beat. DIAMOND RAIN (6) is resuming from a spell of five months and having her first run for the Takatoshi Miyaji yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Kyoto over 2400m. Definite winning chance this line-up. ROUGE KAELA (2) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1800m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. This is an easier assignment and can take this out. EIGHT STARS (10) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 13 when beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh at Hakodate over 1800m. Likely improver who should be about the money.
