LOGICAL WORDS (5) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of three-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1400m at Kyoto. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at Tokyo over 1400m. Looks the one to beat. CANAL CRUISE (9) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1200m at Sapporo, scoring by a nose. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looms as one of the hardest to beat again. FAULTLESS (11) recorded a strong maiden win over 1200m at Fukushima last time, getting there by 1.3 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and she is one of the main chances. RAYURES (6) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1800m at Niigata, beaten 11 lengths into ninth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
